Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information this portfolio handles, why, and the choices you have.

Who is responsible
Martin Castellanos, based in Honduras, operates this site. Contact: mcastellanos1992@gmail.com.
Contact form and email
When you send the contact form, I receive your name, email address, project type, message and the page language. The form is processed by Netlify Forms and forwarded to my email inbox. If you email me directly, I receive whatever you include in your email.
Analytics (only with your consent)
If you choose “Allow analytics”, the site loads Google Analytics 4. It collects pages visited, approximate location (country/city), device and browser type, the site that referred you, and interactions such as button clicks and form submissions. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. If you reject analytics or make no choice, Google Analytics is not loaded. Details are in the Cookie Policy.
Hosting
Netlify hosts the site and may process technical request data such as IP address, browser details and access logs to deliver and protect it.
Why I use this information
Form and email details are used to reply to you and, if we agree, to prepare a proposal or carry out a project (steps you request before a contract). Analytics data is used, with your consent, to understand which pages are useful and improve the site. Hosting data is used to keep the site running and secure. I do not sell your data or use this site to build a marketing list.
Providers and international transfers
Netlify (hosting and forms) and Google (analytics) are based in the United States and may process data outside Honduras. See Netlify’s privacy statement and Google’s privacy policy. LinkedIn and Microsoft Learn are external sites; their own policies apply when you follow those links.
How long data is kept
I delete form submissions from Netlify after I reply, and I keep email conversations only as long as needed for the conversation or any resulting project. Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in Google Analytics, no longer than 14 months. Theme and consent choices stay in your browser until you clear them.
Your choices and rights
You can change your analytics choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page, or block Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out add-on. You can ask me to access, correct or delete your personal data by writing to mcastellanos1992@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Changes
I will update this page and its date if the site’s data practices change.
